State of the Collection ("we", "us", or "our") is a personal watch collection tracker. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your data with care — this app is built for collectors, not advertisers.
We collect the information you provide when creating an account (email address and password) and when adding watches to your collection (brand, model, reference, purchase details, photos, and service records). We do not collect or share data with third-party advertisers or analytics services.
Your data is used solely to operate the app: to display your collection, calculate portfolio stats, and send service reminders you opt into. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — watches, photos, and service records — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
You can export your full collection at any time as CSV or JSON from the Settings page — for free, always. You can delete individual watches or your entire account at any time. If you need assistance, contact us.
